Samsung Galaxy S22, smartphones have been launched in India. These devices were unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked 2022 virtual event last week. The Galaxy S22 series has several upgrades over the last year’s Galaxy S21 series. Being the most premium model in this series, the Galaxy S22 smartphone is equipped with the support of S Pen, so that users can get the Galaxy Note smartphone-like feel. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC has also been given in all Indian versions of the Galaxy S22 family. The pre-orders for the Galaxy S22 series will start from February 23, 2022. The Samsung Galaxy S22 price in India has been set at Rs 72,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. This phone also comes in 8GB + 256GB model, which is priced at Rs 76,999. There is no word on the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series in India yet, but these devices are available for pre-reservation.
Design (Display & Body):
Samsung Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 will be available in India in Green, Phantom Black and Phantom White options. At the same time, the 8GB + 256GB model of the Galaxy S22 smartphone will come in Burgundy, Phantom Black and Phantom White color options. The 8GB + 512GB storage variant will be available in Burgundy and Phantom Black color options. The Samsung Galaxy S22 smartphone runs on Android 12, on top of which is the layer of One UI 4.1. The phone has a 6.1-inch full-HD + Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It supports a variable refresh rate of 48 to 120Hz and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+ panel.
Memory Capacity and Performance:
This phone has 4nm octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC has been given in the phone, which is supported by up to 12GB of RAM. In the memory section, it comes with 128GB 8GB RAM, 256GB 8GB RAM storage.
Camera & sensor Configuration:
Many connectivity options and in-display fingerprint sensor are also available in the phone. There is a triple rear camera setup, consisting of an f/1.8 wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is also accompanied by a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 10-megapixel telephoto shooter. A sensor of 10 megapixels has been given for selfie. Along with all the connectivity options, the phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor. The device has got IP68 rating. That is, it will be protected from water and dust to a large extent.
Samsung has packed the Galaxy S22 with a 3700mAh battery that supports up to 25W wired and 15W wireless charging. Wireless PowerShare is also provided. The device weighs 168 grams. The phone packs a 4,500mAh battery, which supports 45W wired charging along with 15W wireless charging and wireless PowerShare support. The Samsung Galaxy S22 is very similar to the Galaxy S22+. It also has a layer of One UI 4.1 based on Android 12, Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC processor and the same triple rear camera setup. However, it sports a 6.6-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display when compared to the Galaxy S22.
The refresh rate is the same as that of the Galaxy S22. This phone comes with Wi-Fi 6E as well as Ultra-Wideband (UWB) support. Galaxy S22 Ultra has a quad rear camera setup. It has a 108-megapixel primary sensor with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. Along with this, a 10-megapixel telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom and a 10-megapixel telephoto shooter camera with 10x optical zoom support is also provided.
